If letter Holder Has No Value Change It

Besides subjects like Mathematics,English and Environmental Studies , my son learns a subject called SUPW-Socially Useful Productive Work, where he and the others in class are taught to create something out of materials provided to them .Today , my ten- year- old  brought this home-a letter holder. He made this with  a jute like cloth material which was given in class and by following the teachers instructions.I have hung it to the living room door.It looks so pretty. As this is a letter holder, I was wondering  what I was going to fill the compartments with..As you know with the advent of the email system all the mails sent to me are neatly filed  in my inbox so if it is n't useful for my cyber  mails, I decided to convert it into something else.Every fortnight or so, the children bring home from school, some sort of a circular, either a permission slip ,the class test portion paper or a circular for parent-teachers day. Many times, I have had  mis placed those chits because I keep forgetting  where I had put them in the first place. Hitherto, I have decided that this hanger is the appropriate thing to keep the  circulars intact.

Tiny Tools To Fix Your Accessories

This  home accessory kit pack is very  essential in my home.It has many tiny tools that can fix any tear in the childrens ' favourite clothing in a jiffy.I purchased this one recently. My older pack ,was misplaced when we shifted things from our old bedroom to the new  room.I love the variety in this kit pack. There are needles ranging from the tiniest to the largest, safety pins big and small and some beautiful coloured threads all neatly packed in a row. .Now I dont need to  worry , if  my children came home from school with  a broken button or a ripped off  shoe lace. I now can totally depend on  these miniature  tools to come to my rescue!

Tree Carving

I got this  via email and thought it might interest you too.Whoever  who had  this bright idea to carve a tree and not cut it down deserves an applaud. This is a picture of a tree very different from the ones we are accustomed to seeing on a daily basis. .This tree has some special effects. If you look closely you will see an  amazing art work finely embedded on the tree. This has the touch of an artist who is anonymous..

Bougainvillea

I love bougainvillea, even with all its thorns. They are like docorative ornaments, mostly grown in warm climates, bougainvillea can be used as a house plant or hanging basket in cooler climates. They are perfect, when  grown alongside fences, walls.ands as hedges.

Picture Frame

Painting is just another way of keeping a diary-Pablo Picasso

Is nt this pretty? I didn't paint this. This is only a portion of a picture frame that hangs on my living room wall. This   landscape  painting caught my eye at a discount shop.Though I may never know the artist  who have  had painstakingly painted this canvas ,I am appreciative to him/her for giving me the opportunity to adorn my home with his/her creativity.

Scream! Scream!

It was  not Halloween or any  fancy dress party but our  ten year old was having plans  to scare the hell out of my hubby and me.First he had this scary mask placed on our bed.( he even took the picture with the help of the older sister, before trying to scare us.)..Did I get scared? Well I got nauseated seeing something like this on the  bed.

Before I had a chance to tell my Hubby about this, my son quickly took it away.I was wondering what he was going to do next.My husband came home from office and as usually  had a wash and looked for something clean to wear. And guess what he saw when he opened his cupboard!!

Though my son is ten years , he always comes up with  something to keep the whole family entertained. This one ,how-so- much horrified it seemed  at first glance, didnt stop us from reeling with laughter.

Blogger Is Back..Thank God!

What Did I do when Blogger experienced an outage..My whole schedule got disrupted too.I always find my way into reading contents on blogosphere through my blogger dashboard. And when the service was interrupted I didn't know what to do.I still  managed to read some  blog posts by going through google search. But what I missed earlier today was my' blogging  time' ,which is the morning hours when everything is quiet around me.That's the time I do a lot of browsing, surfing and visiting my favourites in  blogosphere.Thank God ! The service is back again and thus letting me go back to my usual schedules.

Technological Invention Quote

All of the biggest technological inventions created by man - the airplane, the automobile, the computer - says little about his intelligence, but speaks volumes about his laziness.

Eiffel Tower Reconstructed?

This is a Eiffel Tower model , reconstructed by my ten year old son.He was guided by a do-it-your-self activity book, that  my Hubby  got it for him this evening. He was very keen to complete it then and there.Tiny  pieces of wood  had already been  shaped and carved for easy construction. If you have a close  look at the  background in the picture ,you will notice the spot  where he was working  this project..Come on! Have you guessed it right! Well ..The spot is not anywhere near   Eiffel Tower. It's right here on the computer table at home
